The main characteristics of her artwork are the importance of texture and color.
They are material works, highly charged, always in the absence of black and white. Mostly abstract, with the main objective of inviting the viewer to a work of personal introspection, approaching almost a meditation, living the present moment, and enjoying the painting.
About Marga Guasch
She was born in Santa Eularia although she moved to Barcelona to study Conservation and Restoration of painting with Benoît de Tâpol, an expert and prestigious restorer chemist at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. She has also studied Expertise and Appraisal of Painting and Furniture, Restoration of Antique Furniture, and has a degree in Art History from the National University of Distance Education.
She also has a Master's Degree in Heritage Conservation from the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville, in whose final work she designed a plan for the conservation and enhancement of the church of Puig de Missa de Santa Eulària.
